NASA has selected me as 1 of 50 social media influencers to cover their upcoming ATLAS V rocket launch. How exciting!

I’m now at my Airbnb in Cocoa, FL near the Kennedy Space Center. The launch has been scheduled for April 18th, 2017 at 11:11 am ET. Here’s the detailed breakdown from the KSC website:

United Launch Alliance Atlas V Cygnus OA-7/CRS-7
The United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket launches from SLC-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Atlas V rocket will carry Orbital ATK’s Cygnus cargo capsule, the S.S. John Glenn, on the seventh operational cargo delivery flight to the International Space Station, known as OA-7/CRS-7.

- Tour NASA facilities at the Kennedy Space Center
- Meet and interact with engineers, technicians and other NASA team members
- Meet members of NASA, Orbital ATK, and ULA social media teams
- View and take photographs of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket at Launch Complex 41
- View the launch of a ULA Atlas V rocket and Cygnus spacecraft
